Two volunteer cops, Lauren and Tim, arrive hurt from a car-jacking and shooting. Even though Lauren and Tim are trained not to get involved with someone who has a gun, they apparently did try to stop the car jacking.

Laurens injuries dont seem to be too serious but later she feints which is attributed to being stuck with a needle. But after she feints again, the doctors ascertain she has a clotting problem.
